<p>H.K.E. Society's S. Nijalingappa Institute of Dental Sciences &amp; Research, Kalaburagi, is a reputed dental institution established in 1986-87 under the H.K.E. Society. Starting with 40 BDS students, it has grown into a full-fledged dental college recognised by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru. The college is spread across a 12-acre campus on Sedam Road, Kalaburagi.</p><p><br></p><p>The institute offers the BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) undergraduate programme with 100 seats, and MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) postgraduate programmes across 6 specialties with 26 seats. The college is committed to producing skilled dental professionals through a strong blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical training.</p><p><br></p><p>The campus features a 300-bed dental hospital providing real-world clinical experience to students, along with well-equipped preclinical and clinical laboratories, smart classrooms, and a library housing over 6,000 books and access to e-journals.
